Our Past Events

The Story Queen conducted several Online Training of Teachers on Storytelling Methodology called as Online- ToT- Beginners from December 2023 till August 2024. As of now around 450 teachers have been trained through this mode. The training lasts for 3 hours and session is taken by Master Trainer- Nupur Srivastava. All the successful trainees were given certificate for the training. 

The Story Queen launched its first Open Mic at The Aaromale Cafe- Jubilee Hills in Hyderabad on 28th February 2024. The event was a hit with myriad of wonderful performances by artists in various categories of talent. It was a unique mingling of artist and a great way of “digital detoxification“. The judges in the event were Ms Rupa & Ms Nupur Srivastava. Total 30 artists participated and performed. All artists received a certificate of participation. 

What a memorable and fun event it was with around 35 kids and 90 adults who joined us for the experiential storytelling session at Sid’s Farm in Hyderabad. The event was conducted on 24th February 2024 in collaboration with Sid’s Farm under the guidance of Mrs. Nupur Srivastava (Founder- The Story Queen)  & Dr. Kishore Indukuri (Sid’s Farm). 

We had a magically & sparkly time celebrating the Spirit of Christmas through Jingle & Mingle Soirée 🎄event on 23rd December 2023 at Aaromale Cafe in Jubilee Hills at Hyderabad. We celebrated with 19 kids and their parents through puppet show, storytelling,  decorating cookies, Christmas related crafting & dance. It was memories cherished together before moving in the new year with new hopes & dreams. 

It was a sunny Saturday evening on 9th December 2023 when a vibrant group of kids and parents joined The Story Queen team at Sid’s Farm in Hyderabad. The group enjoyed farm related stories and craft conducted by The Story Queen team.

Later, on Dr Kishore Indukuri, Founder Sid’s Farm and Mr. Tamal Chatterjee- Marketing Head at Sid’s Farm took us for a farm visit. Everyone learnt about   milk and its properties, various types of plants, fed cows, milked cows, tested milk, watched manufacturing process, took tractor ride and relished farm produce. Indeed it was a day well spent with lots of learning and fun.I

This immersive storytelling, astronomy & art therapy workshop for kids & their parents was organised by The Astronomy Club along with The Story Queen at IIT- Hyderabad on 25th November 2023. Kids were in the age group of 5 to 9 years. The main objective of the workshop was to introduce and generate interest towards the universe and related topics at a young age. Kids were taken through a journey of the solar system, constellations along with storytelling and art therapy related to topics. Cherry on the top was Virtual Reality exposure and watching Sun, Jupiter along with its moon through the telescope. There were 20 kids and 30 parents who enthusiastically participated.

THE STORYTELLING FESTIVAL at Siate Felici School in Jubilee Hills- Hyderabad was an attempt to give opportunity to young minds to explore the possibilities of storytelling & public speaking at a young age. It enhances confidence, concentration, communication & creativity of the child in a fun way. We spent some quality time with 10 kids and parents on a sunny bright Saturday morning on 18th November 2023

On 4th November 2023, On the occasion of term culmination day, The Story Queen conducted performance storytelling and puppet show at Firstcry Intellitots Jubilee Hills- Hyderabad. The school was transformed into a magical realm woven by the captivating tales. The little ones were spellbound, their eyes wide with wonder, and their parents joined in the fun, sharing giggles and smiles with their children. It was a day where imaginations soared, and laughter echoed through the halls.This experience was one whereo young learners and their parents will treasure the experience forever.

On 22nd October 2023, The Story Queen collaborated with Sahegaami NGO in Delhi for a Virtual Storytime with adolescent kids through Youtube LIVE. The stories were specially curated to meet the needs of community adolescent kids who need subtle inspiration. The session was attended by 25 kids online along with 5 Sahegaami members. The event was full of delight and laughter.

🌼DUSSEHRA CAMP🌼

14th to 20th Oct 2023 (7 days) was organised for the age group 4 to 8 years

by The Story Queen at Kalpatru, MLA Colony, Road no 12, Banjara Hills- Hyderabad. It was a fun filled Dussehra camp! There were many activities like Storytelling, Puppet Show, Art & Craft, Rangoli Creation, Puppet making and Dandia/Garba. On the occasion of World Youth Skills Day on 15th July 2023, The Story Queen conducted an event for Training of Teachers on Storytelling Methodology. The event was full of great participation, creativity and knowledge. Total 22 teachers attended the event at Jubilee Hils - Hyderabad
